Overview

The study of cultivating, propagating and producing intensively managed crops such as grapes and other fruits, vegetables, flowers, trees, shrubs and plants. The main purpose of this narrow field of education is to develop an understanding of the factors affecting plant propagation, growth and physiology. It also involves developing an ability to utilise current horticultural and viticultural technology, principles and practices.

Course skills
