At the end of 2023, we ran the She Did What? video competition. Women are under-represented in STEM success stories so we asked students to create a short video about the achievements of an Australian woman in STEM.
Students from all over the country presented on a huge range of Australian women in STEM ranging from historical figures like Florence McKenzie, to contemporary STEM stars like Elizabeth Blackburn, Karlie Noon and Laura Mackay. A number of students also featured inspiring STEM women working in their own communities.
Congratulations to the winners!
