June is Pride Month

At The GiST we proudly celebrate Pride Month and the contributions of LGBTQIA+ individuals in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Here are some resources to explore this Pride Month.

Celebrating Pride Month in STEM learning helps foster an inclusive environment where all students and professionals feel seen, respected, and empowered to contribute. LGBTQ+ individuals have historically faced barriers in STEM fields, and recognising Pride helps challenge stereotypes, promote diversity, and inspire future innovators from all backgrounds.
